Banner

I finally decorated the My Creations Banner that I purchased months ago! Banners are the trendy thing right now, and Close to My Heart makes it easy to make your own custom banner with 8 white chipboard pennants and 7 jump rings. This banner was so fast and easy to make. It is now hanging in my crafty loft where the walls are only about 4 feet before the pitch of the ceiling begins. The colors in the Wings paper packet were perfect for the loft also. I'm just thrilled with the way it turned out.

Thanks for looking in today! Hope your day is filled with joy!!

OK--I don't have a girl,
but it is cute, pretty, frilly things like these bows
that just make me dream!

I found this great blog, Birdsong Bows, through Craftaholics Anonymous. I've been on the look out lately for items that would be good to sell at a craft fair, I'm definitely going to try this.
Hopefully I will be a winner of the great giveaway! Hop on over to Craftaholics Anonymous to find out how you could win 3 tutorials from Birdsong Bows!
Good Luck!!

ToDo Book

Wow--trying to get one more post in before I take my young baseball player to his 9:00 a.m. practice.
My BFF recently got engaged so I made her a little notebook to help her stay organized. Her things to do, before she says I do!!

The cover is actually a macaroni and cheese box! The actual size is 5 3/4 x 3 1/4. It is nice and sturdy and will hold up when tossed in a purse!

It is full with paper for her lists. I just cut some notebook paper and some old CTMH B&T down to size. Then made some divider pages with tabs that she can label.

There is also a place to save receipts.
This was so much fun to make AND so easy!

Now off to baseball practice, then home to work out, shower, then pickup from baseball practice, then fix lunches, then go into work THEN home to make Father's Day cards, which will now get in the mail too late to make it on time. Oh well--story of my life!

More Cards!

These cards were also inspired from the Close to My Heart art boards. (inspired? I should say CASED!!) I'm ever so grateful to all the talented people who share their artwork there, if not for them, I'd have tons of trouble crafting lately.

This first one was CASED from Dawn, a fellow CTMH consultant. She has a beautiful blog called Just for Fun.

Another fun card using a transparency window. I saw a card similar to this on the art boards, and when I went back to search again, I couldn't find it.

Oh boy--so happy to be posting!

Pop Up Flower Card

I was inspired by Joelle at Scrapbook Snippets when she posted her beautiful Spring Flower pop up card on the Close to My Heart art board. See her card here. Joelle referenced another very talented crafter, Brenda at Qbee's Quest for the detailed instructions. Find them here.
I hardly have time for crafting lately, but just had to try this gorgeous card! It has actually been completed for awhile, I'm just finding a bit of time this morning to post some things.

The glare in that window is from the acetate that is on the inside. Not the best of picture, but rush, rush, rush is my theme these days.

Inside I used flowers from the stamp set Cottage Floral and the stamp set that came with the Tinkled Pink kit last year.
It's a cheery card, and is a (very) late birthday card for my dear sister!

Thanks for looking in today!
