I JUST decided while coming up with the title for this post that this year I will keep track of the number of cards and layouts I complete!
Ohhhhh--the pressure is on!
This card was created for my husband's top customer--who is receiving a travel voucher! I used a paper pack from Graphic 45 called Tropical Travelogue. Their patterned paper paired up nicely with Close To My Heart's Pacifica and Crystal Blue card stock.
I had help with the design by using Unscripted Sketches, #192.
LOVE using sketches!
Now--off to make cards #2, #3, and #4!
Maybe I'll keep track of books read also!
Be looking in my sidebar, I'm going to find one of those counters for these things!

ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous! Extending the umbrella over the top AND THE HAND OVER THE SENTIMENT PANEL really is sheer creative genius! Perfect choice of plain paper color to draw the pretty steel blue tones from the image. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us this week at Unscripted Sketches :)
ReplyDeleteYou can never go wrong with G45 papers, tropical traveloque is one of my faves. Love your card. Thanks for sharing with us at US.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a great card and I have to agree with everyone else, the ladies hand draping over the sentiment is very clever and just finishes the card of beautifully. Thanks for sharing your take on this weeks sketch at Unscripted Sketches.
