Get Well Soon
It has been too long since I last posted anything here. I've been busy creating goodies for a local craft consignment store. I'll be posting pictures of the stash soon.
But for now, I needed to create a "get well" card. The sketch this week over at the Heart to Heart Challenge blog spoke to me. It was a simple enough sketch--I thought I could
whip out a card in no time. Well, it took me longer than I hoped (as everything does!!) and it kind of took a life of it's own. I've never been good with clustering, but I think this turned out all right. I asked my son if this was ok for Grandpa--and got the grandkid approval!
Close to My Heart supplies used:
Typeset Level 2 Paper Pack, Milepost Shapes, Pin Clips, Mocha Opaques, Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, Chocolate Ink Pad.
The heart that is at the top of the Pin Clip and the button are contra objects from the my horded stash!
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope you are enJOYing this last day of November!

Oh, this is so cute! I just love the little cluster of embellishments at the top. Thanks for playing along with us at H2H this week!
ReplyDeleteI think your "clustering" turned out great! I have such a hard time of it, I rarely do it. You are very brave. :-) Your son is right. Grandpa is going to appreciate this card.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've got the clustering down. I really like the card.
ReplyDeleteYour card is sure to brighten his day! I think you did a great job on your cluster. Thanks for taking the H2H sketch challenge!

ReplyDeleteFantastic card, Lisa! Also, congrats on consigning some of your great crafts at a local store. Recently Broken Arrow opened up a consignment craft shop on Main Street, and I've been toying with making some things and opening up a booth there. (The Etsy thing really didn't pan out). Please let me know how this goes for you. :)
